Extended Areas of Support Leader Kwajalein Atoll This position is contingent upon contract award Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for you to be included in our key personnel as an Extended Areas of Support Leader for our intended proposal on the Range Engineering Technical Services currently under the RTS Contract on Kwajalein. The mission of the Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site (RTS) is to provide a Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB) activity on Kwajalein Atoll and Wake Island to support Theater and Strategic Ballistic Missile Intercepts, NASA Space Ops and STRATCOM Space Surveillance. The contract mission includes research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts for on-site and off-site engineering, technical support services, and materials required to operate, maintain, analyze, and modify the RTS instrumentation and related support systems. This position will be located in Kwajalein Atoll and/or Huntsville, Alabama This position requires an Active Top Secret Clearance In this role your responsibilities will be to: Manage a small group of matrixed personnel from other departments to support RTS requirements at Wake island, Aur Atoll, or other extended support areas. Report to the Raytheon RTS Program Manager and has the authority to plan, organize and staff a surge organization using personnel from other RTS departments. Direct department personnel issues including hiring, firing, evaluations and disciplinary actions, and signs for material purchases.. Optics and Communications technicians are often necessary to meet Extended Support Needs. Additional duties as identified and assigned. To be successful in this role you will need: An active Top Secret clearance. Minimum six to eight years’ experience in the areas of responsibilities described. Five to seven years’ instrumentation leader experience. Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field. This position is contingent upon contract award and government clearance, if required.
