Job Description

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Training and Development Support Specialist to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Candidate will coordinate training presentations, including multimedia, course development, schedule, and publish courses. The Training and Development Specialist will provide the full gamut of classroom logistics support; serve as Training Technician, tracking employee training; monitor and track mandatory training for civilian/military/contractor workforce; and monitor and track the long term training nomination process. Candidate will support the training registrar and implementation of training programs for career development plans and goals; perform adjunct registrar functions; track regulatory training requirements; and generate reports. Candidate will also support the Employee Development Center, which serves as the umbrella for all education, training, and career development activities in the Agency. Candidate will provide various administrative skills for the Training and Development team.

Required Skills:

0-3 years of work experience required with 0-2 years of experience as a Trainer, preferred. Candidate must have the ability to follow established procedures and solve routine problems Candiate must work within a team environment and multi-task, assignments must be complted on schedule, and the candidate must be capable of assisting with training, design and development of training curriculum Strong verbal, communication and writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel are a must Must be a U.S. Citizen A U.S. Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have a Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this clearance level during their employment.

Desired Skills:

Related prior military or civilian service experience is a plus.


A completed Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
