C++ Software Developer
SEG is seeking a C++ Software Developer in Huntsville, AL
+ SEG is seeking a Software Engineer to fill one of several code development needs on the OSF system.
+ Work is part of the MASC contract for Teledyne Brown in Huntsville Alabama. The software engineer will serve as a SEG subcontractor to Teledyne Brown. The work must be performed on site**.
+ Selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, test, and verification of various aspects of the system.
+ There are positions available for interface development using PrismTechs OpenSplice technology. This work requires C++ expertise with Boost.
+ There are positions available for Human Machine Interface (HMI) work. This work required Java expertise.
+ There are positions available for prototype and analysis work. This work requires C++ expertise with Boost.
+ Candidates for this position must have a SECRET level security clearance.
+ Candidates for this position will be required to learn applicable technologies and skills, and will be mentored and trained by the team as needed.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering or related field with a solid foundation in Mathematics and coding. Minimum 5 years of work experience is necessary with C++ or Java as well as a working knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux Operating Systems is required. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, highly motivated and comfortable with working independently and in a development team. Candidate with these desired skills or experience will be given preferential consideration:
+ Bachelor’s Degree and 5-10+ years experience
+ Demonstrated ability to assume leadership roles on project tasks
+ Experience in modeling and simulations architecture and development
+ Experience with all phases of software QA including unit, acceptance, regression and cross-platform testing
+ Development experience with IDEs (VisualStudio, NetBeans, Eclipse), debuggers and performance tools
+ Knowledge or experience in multi-threading (POSIX, OpenMP, MPI), SSE or GPU programming
+ Familiarity with MATLAB scripting and Simulink
+ Experience with version-control software (CVS, Subversion, Git) and configuration management tools (Jira, Bugzilla)
+ Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, BASH)
+ Basic systems administration
+ Experience working within an Agile development team
