Job Description

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: *Engineering degree or the equivalent military / vocational certifications

MONTHS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:Ten (10) years of test experience or equivalent vocational / military certifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance. Experience in/expertise with Joint-World communications as a Joint Integrated Test Control Officer, familiarity with MIL-STD-3011c Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP), Tactical Data Link (TDL) 16 protocol and testing for DoD/multi-service platforms and /or sensors. Experience / participation in Joint Service test events e.g. Red Flag and Bold Quest is a must with the ability to leverage these events, data, analysis and performance of joint sensors for an integrated air picture. Must be able to link the technical capability of the platform sensors, technical risks and costs to overall Project goals and schedule. Must have test experience to ensure key system/component/subsystem performance capabilities are incorporated and demonstrated in test plans. Must have good communication / briefing skills to confirm to key stakeholders and Project leadership that key test/engineering objectives have been achieved via test reports and briefings.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Program Office test experience with a general understanding of how the test / engineering process relates to the program/acquisition process. Understanding of the systems engineering process to review requirements allocation and traceability. Must have a good working knowledge of test plans and test reports.

Individual should be pro-active and independent in the engineering and testing of platform sensors, yet willing and capable to work as a team member as part of the larger organization.

COMMENTS:20% Travel to selected CONUS and OCONUS locations is possible.
