System Administrator III – Windows
Provide Windows Server administration for the Network Enterprise Center – Redstone Arsenal under the Army Logistics Transformation (ALT) contract.
Primary responsibilities will be to provide VMware and Windows server administration including design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, integration, backup/recovery, ensuring the availability of applications, developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment, and maintaining compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) using approved scanning tools. Also will be required to interact with local and program management to answer questions, problems, and requests regarding system issues
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR POSITION
+ Experience with Windows 2008/2012 Server Administration
+ Extensive Experience with VMWare to include vCenter, and ESXi
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
+ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
+ CompTIA Security+ CE Certification Required
IDEAL APPLICANT WILL ALSO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
+ Experience working in a DoD environment
+ Ability to work with limited supervision, be a self-starter, and able to work in a team environment
+ Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM and SCOM
+ MCSE and/or VMware certification
+ BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience
