Venturi, Inc. has had excellent opportunity for a Software Developer to support a handheld ground fires/close air support software program for the United States Marine Corps. The U. S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) developers support an Android-based software application named Target Handoff System version 2 (THS v2). This software application uses real-time inputs from organic sensor systems enabling users to rapidly develop targeting data for use with weapon systems at the maneuver unit level.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will be responsible for developing systems and software architectures, managing software requirements, and developing mobile software solutions. The applicant must have an understanding of object oriented mobile development and user interface design. Candidate will support and participate in system/subsystem design, trade-off and performance studies and analyses; interpret and analyze requirements obtained/derived from customer; review, verify and/or validate system specifications and other design-related documentation; and hardware and software design review, technical interchange and management control meetings and configuration control boards.
