Senior Desktop Support
As a Senior Desktop Support Analyst for KBRwyle, you will be enabling personnel to accomplish their mission. You will use your expertise with various operating systems, mobile devices, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and common business applications to provide superior technical support to the customer and train junior technicians. You will work closely with the Government customer, vendors, and teammates to coordinate moves and changes of IT equipment, and manage configuration of variety of mobile devices. Each day will bring new challenges and tasks, as you answer inquiries, locate information and analyze technical requirements at a moment’s notice; provide desk-side information technology support to military/civilian professionals at all levels of the organization; configure and install PCs, network printing devices, peripherals and software, including physical attachment of equipment to the network; install and maintain peripheral equipment such as printers, digital senders, and scanners; install, configure and maintain network applications and application distribution systems; ensure system security is in compliance with customer policy including virus protection; implement and maintain network standards and guidelines; utilize tools sets such as Symantec Ghost, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop; and operate audio/visual equipment such as Video Teleconferencing devices, projectors, and presentation hardware. Your dedication to outstanding customer service, hard work, and perseverance will result in support that meets or exceeds the customer’s needs and ultimately, delivery of services that enable personnel to accomplish the mission at hand. Type of Experience Required: Security CE certification plus one computing environment certification required. Must have a strong working knowledge of and experience with computer hardware, software and peripheral devices in a diverse environment. Must be familiar with desktop operating systems, office applications, hardware installation/troubleshooting and have some knowledge of network operating systems and hardware. Must be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic. Must be able to work both independently and as an effective team member. Must be prompt and courteous at all times. Must have excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette.Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience; Associates Degree with 6 years of experience OR 8 years of experience in lieu of degree.An active secret security clearance is required.Familiarity with Windows 10, virtual desktops; experience in DOD environment is desired.Wyle is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
