Senior Analyst


This position supports the Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG), which serves as the Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space (PEO MS) focal point for bringing together Project Offices, Staff Offices, and other Department of the Army organizations to plan and implement long and short term strategies for the internal and external integration of complex weapon systems. The prospective candidate will be responsible for preparing senior level correspondence in the form of written papers, articles, and presentations. Strong writing skills are required. The candidate will coordinate with the Public Release authority to get approval for responses to reporter’s Requests for Information and responses to public release requests from the PEO Staff and subordinate elements. The candidate will prepare quarterly articles for the Program Executive Office (PEO) level Newsletter, coordinate articles provided by the Program Offices and staff elements, and publish the newsletter. The candidate will assist the Strategic Communications specialist with internal and external communications to include position papers, briefings, and congressional testimony to convey information concerning complex PEO MS programs and positions. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and documenting the flow of staff packages within the PEO Staff and assist the Project Offices and Staff Elements with obtaining Command Group approval when required. The candidate will also support the development and distribution of standard communications products on a regular basis and perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience in the described duties is required.

Knowledge of PEO Missiles and Space systems and advanced PowerPoint skills are highly desirable.
