Job Description

Perform all design engineering activities in the area of Electrical/Equipment Installation (ESI), all ATA Chapters for Mechanical System Installation (MSI) and Cabin & Cargo-Furnishing/-Systems (EC) linked to non-conformities and concessions originated during the A320 Family FAL US manufacturing process. Perform creation, validation, and approval through design and chief engineering delegation and monitoring of design and engineering corrective actions / improvements and preventive measures (launch of new modifications, drawing updates, design query notes) to resolve engineering related non-conformities in line with the Airbus Design requirements and airworthiness requirements. Represent the Chief Engineering and the design offices of AIRBUS (by delegation), as well as design to build suppliers. Perform creation, approval, and authorization (release) of technical solutions with Design Office and chief engineering Delegation including justification reports for repairs, reworks or trouble shooting instructions. Perform creation, approval and authorization of temporary aircraft definitions (special instructions) in line with Airbus Design Principles and Airworthiness Requirements. Ensure that solutions are in line with the requirements of the Engineering, Production and Quality Service Level Agreement content, including time line, quality and completeness of the solution as well as Airbus Design Principles and continuous Airworthiness requirements.
