Job Description

+ Ongoing development of the national growthstrategy, targeting businesses and industries where there is strong alignmentto our growth strategy and credit processes.

+ Will be the face of US Bank in a newfrontier outside of current footprint.Responsibilityfor creating the overall strategy, business development routines, andrelationship management.

+ Use of targeted analytics’ that willleverage our success in markets outside of footprint.

+ Fully digital relationship tieswithout a branch distribution network

+ Strategy will include the entirebusiness relationship (credit and deposits).Targeted businesses from $10-$30 million dollars in revenue- potentiallyhigher if corporate/commercial banking is not in the market.

+ Build a plan to address current riskand credit policies that are outside the current scope due to the marketlocation.

+ Identify opportunities with verticalbusinesses that have already been vetted by industry standards and are consideredbankable.

+ Drives growth strategy byidentifying and influencing key leaders within the organization to embraceexpansion.

+ Growing new business that willincrease market share and profits through full relationship growth (loans,deposits, payments, wealth management, mortgage).

+ Determine “down stream”opportunities in markets where we have a corporate/commercial banking presence

+ Experienced in everything digital(app’s, remote deposit, and all on-line capabilities.)

+ Ability to determine context, collaterelevant facts/data, analyze and coherently articulate the challenge, potentialsolutions and recommend a solution.

+ Exceptional leadership skills withthe ability to collaborate across the organization



+ Bachelor’sDegree in finance, accounting, or related field.

+ 10years of experience in business development, lending and/or relationshipmanagement.


+ Provensuccess at developing and executing strategies in alignment with overallbusiness objectives

+ Abilityto influence and negotiate effectively at all levels

+ Extensiveknowledge of business credit and underwriting standards

+ Strongrelationship management skills and demonstrates strong tactical businessdevelopment and negotiation skills

+ Ableto identify opportunities, issues and viable alternatives, while managing risk.

+ Abilityto manage multiple and competing priorities on a daily basis in pursuit ofbusiness growth.

+ Nationalmarket expansion experience

+ Demonstratedability to create and maintain healthy, productive partnership

+ Well-developedanalytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

+ Considerabletact and diplomacy
