Job Description

COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for a Senior Electrical Engineer in support of an UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) program!

+ Responsible for the design, development, and modification of complicated and difficult electrical devices and/or systems *

+ Responsible for planning and conducting assigned technical projects or phases of projects *

+ Responsible for documenting the results of electrical design elements on assigned projects *

+ May provide work leadership for lower level employees

Required Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years work related experience
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs
  • Minimum of a SECRET clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Rapid Prototyping
  • Experience with UAVs and/or aviation systems
  • Experience in resolving technical issues with quality, safety, configuration management, survivability, test & evaluation, airworthiness, reliability-availability- maintainability, and technical risk management.
