Will accommodate hotel patrons by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or cards, transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide and have general knowledge of computers. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Must be able to stand, kneel, sit, walk, lift and type. Must interact with guests, co-workers and vendors. Must know how to operate office machines, phones/copy machine, and computers. Must have basic comprehension of the English language and be able to effectively communicate to hotel guests and other staff.
