Job Description

SUMMARY

The Technical Associate is responsible for providing high-quality service in all customer technical spaces, including, but not limited to data centers, mobile telephone switch centers, central office wire centers, and designated enterprise spaces. The Technical Associate is required to take excellent care of our customers, build relationships, question things and take action, work hard, work smart, and enjoy the experience.

Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis when applicable

Physically placing or removing
Cable trays and/or racking
Data Equipment cabinets and frames
Data Servers, Switches, Routers, Repeaters, Bridges, Gateways, Multiplexers, Transceivers, Firewalls
Physically routing the cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces
Identify, label, and terminate cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data
Conduct test and document performance characteristics of hardware and software
Review, analyze, and interpret work orders, drawings, records, and manuals
Interact with all members of the organization; Installation, Engineering, and Project Management
Performs other duties as requested by Manager
