Job Summary Internal Posting This position is available to Auburn University and Auburn University at Montgomery regular status employees (internal applicants only), not TES (Temporary Employment Services).**

Provides administrative and general clerical support within an academic department with responsibility for a broad variety of office and project support duties and tasks. Provides electronic travel/expense voucher processing as well as other expenditure processing such as electronic vendor and journal vouchers. Input of departmental time entry. Acts as office liaison; receives and routes telephone calls and visitors; provides and gathers information. Prepares documents, reports, newsletters, databases and manuscripts. Maintains database of and orders office supplies, materials and equipment. Schedule appointments, maintain calendar, arrange travel plans and provide similar administrative assistance for department head and other faculty. Assist with special events and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications Entry into the applicant pool requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years experience in clerical and administrative support services. Employer will consider advance degree’s in lieu of experience.

Knowledge of Banner Finance and Kronos timekeeping software. Knowledge of office rules, procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is also required.
