SAIC has an immediate need for a C# .NET Backend Web Application Developer to support the Systems Simulation, Software & Integration (S3I) organization at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville and provide Software Systems Engineering support for the next generation of Army aircraft maintenance software.
+ This is primarily a backend web development position focused on the database, object relational mapping (ORM), and middle tier, with possibly some work on front end components. The tooling is centered around the Microsoft stack; SQL Server 2016, Visual Studio 2017, C# .NET, Team Foundation Server (TFS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
+ The selected candidate will work in a small unit as part of a larger team, supporting a fielded US Army aviation maintenance software development effort and developing new features for a data center hosted web application. Source code management, build automation, planning, and tasking activities all take place in TFS, with the team operating around a modified agile model in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a recognized engineering discipline or related technical field is required (4 additional years of experience can be usedin lieu of degree).
Required Technical Skills & Experience:
+ 4+ years technical experience developing database driven web applications utilizing C# .NET
+ Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance
Desired Technical Skills:
+ Strong relational database design experience with Microsoft SQL
+ Solid understand of the .NET Framework, and its implementation using C#
+ Working knowledge of modern full-stack web application development patterns and practices
+ Knowledge of Army Aviation maintenance systems, processes, and data.
