Job Description

QuantiTech, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) founded in Huntsville, Alabama in 1991 by Sheila Brown. QuantiTech has a twenty-seven year track record of providing superior technical and management support to both Government and Commercial Customers in Systems Engineering and Integration; Program and Project Management; Test and Evaluation; Logistics Engineering; Safety; Business Management; and Information Technology.

QuantiTech is currently seeking a Software Developer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

+ Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of data reduction and analysis software.

+ Review, develop, and update software required for complex and data intensive analysis.

+ Develop requirements, specifications, and other associated documentation as needed; since this is not operational software the requirements for documentation are minimal.

+ Take ownership of the software and be able to fix current bugs on the fly, maintain the software as message sets change and evolve, and maintain and develop visualization tools

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must currently possess an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with active investigation.

+ At least 5 years of software related experience.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical area.

+ Proficient knowledge of C# programming language

+ Experience managing software development projects and in software architecture design reasoning and decision making, including gathering and associating decision contexts, formulating design decision problems, finding solution options, and evaluating tradeoffs in the decision processes.

+ Experience managing products through the full software development lifecycle, including Requirements, Design, Construction, Testing, Debugging, Deployment, and Maintenance.

+ Ability to schedule and manage resources.

+ Experience working in defense or government user experience projects. Successful experience as a member of a development team / environment.

+ Good oral and written communication skills.

+ Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Technical Knowledge:

+ Proficient knowledge of programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, etc.

+ In-depth knowledge of various software development processes such as Agile development, prototyping, iterative and incremental development, spiral development, and rapid application development.

+ Current Active SECRET U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
