Job Description

Venturi has an exciting career opportunity for a Hypersonic Advanced Engineer/Analyst who will support flight test planning, operations, and execution. Test support includes assisting in the development of briefings to MDA leadership, supporting weekly meetings for event specific working groups, and traveling to remote sites to support test events. The engineer/analyst will provide input and support in preparation of test event documentation to include tailored CONOPS and Standard Operating Procedures for testing. The primary function of the candidate will be to work closely with the test event Mission Director and multiple organizations (internal and external to MDA) to provide test support.

Good understanding of the Ballistic Missile Defense System
Proficient in MS Office: will regularly build slide presentations to brief leadership
Good writing skills. Will need to produce detailed trip reports and provide summaries of daily meetings.
Good communication skills. Will deal regularly and build relationships with outside organizations such as DARPA, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, etc. Will also provide support on briefing 3-Letter and 2-Letter leadership.
Good understanding of MDA Flight Test Concept Of Operations.
Organize meetings for internal and external groups. E-scheduler experience is a plus.
Strong leadership skills. Will need to lead meetings in the event the Mission Director is unavailable for Flight Test Working Groups.
~25% travel (CONUS and OCONUS)
Some overtime hours will be required from time to time to support customer’s needs

Job Requirements

Experience

15 years relevant experience. 10 years relevant experience if candidate has a MA/MS in a related field.

Education

BA/BS in a related field.
