Job Description

Venturi has an excellent career opportunity for a Senior Flight Test Engineer to support MDA System Engineering Test Requirements (EEF) with technical support to initiate Flight Test (FT) system test event planning; establish FT assessment requirements; identify, detail, and recommend lowest cost test venues; perform FT Readiness development and reviews; provide FT system test event coordination and execution support to ensure test planning and data generation are sufficient to achieve test requirements. Activities will include participation in coordination and technical meetings; generation of Systems Engineering Test Requirements products as defined in system event Concepts-of-Operations (CONOPS) and test planning documentation; interfacing and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and verify correct capture of test requirements for inclusion in MDA test documentation, including Test Objectives Memoranda and associated Test Objectives; identifying, tracking and assisting in resolution of Action Items and Watch Items resulting from the test requirement coordination process; identifying needs of internal and external customers and address their concerns; developing executive level briefings based upon supervisor vision and guidance.

Required: Strong interpersonal skills. Capability to use the Microsoft Office package to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project. Ability to work independently. Minimum of 7 yrs experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) in test requirements development/management.
Willingness to learn new processes and procedures and discipline to follow established procedures.

Desired: Experience supporting Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) test planning and/or requirements highly desired.
