Job Description Summary
The Auburn University, Department of Aviation, seeks an Aviation Lecturer at its Auburn, Alabama campus.

The Lecturer will teach undergraduate courses in Aviation (8 courses per year) on topics such as commercial air carriers, operations management, unmanned aircraft systems, human factors, and safety.

Duties will also include service to the department, college, and the scholastic and aviation community.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Aeronautics/Aviation or a related field by the start date and/or related work experiences in the field, professional licensure, certifications or other demonstrated competencies that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes may be substituted as appropriate.

Desired Qualifications
PhD in Aeronautics/Aviation. A successful record of teaching applicable courses at the college or university level.
