The Pricing Supervisor provides tactical leadership for the Purchasing Team (Material Planners), and is responsible for their efficiency, productivity and quality. The Materials Pricing Supervisor may also participate in the quoting of materials, equipment, supplies and / or services from suppliers to the Programs.
Perform all duties in accordance with established policies, operating procedures, standards of ethical conduct, laws and regulations pertaining to procurement.
Assign work and monitor work flow to maximize productivity and efficiency within the Purchasing Team.
Screen and prioritize Order Execution Plans (OEP’s), and assign to personnel.
Review final OEP packages for completeness and accuracy, including BOM’s for requirements, supplier quotations, single source justifications, Memorandum of Price Reasonableness (MPR’s) for compliance with policies and procedures, contractual obligations, legal compliance, and serve as a business / technical advisor to the Purchasing Team.
May Perform both Pricing and supervisory functions, including the administration of high complexity, high dollar pricing efforts based on the department’s workload.
Assist the Purchasing Manager with budget preparation and monitoring.
Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of Pricing policies and procedures, and related training activities.
The Materials Pricing Supervisor may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
The Material Pricing Supervisor may have direct reports.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Professional attitude and demeanor; problem-solving and prioritization skills; ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution.
Intermediate computer skills; specifically using MICROSOFT Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs.
Ability to enter data accurately into pricing templates.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as supplier quotations, product data sheets, work instructions, and procedure MANUALS.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc. Must represent Yulista Aviation, Inc. in a professional manner at all times.
Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely.
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
Ability to follow a process.
Professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista Aviation, Inc.’s goals.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or other related field with a minimum of 3 years of procurement / materials pricing experience; OR at least 5 years of procurement / materials pricing experience in lieu of a degree. Experience should include the acquisition or pricing of commercial & industrial supplies, military / aerospace components (MIL-STD, NSN, etc.) or fabricated parts and assemblies (metals, composites, castings, forgings, machining, services, controls, or electronics).
Minimum of three (3) years’ in a leadership or supervisory role in a pricing, purchasing of supply chain position.
Experience in a military manufacturing or commercial aviation service environment preferred.
Experience in an ISO9000 and AS9100 environment preferred.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems; experience working with Deltek / Cost Point preferred.
Ability to pass a drug and BACKGROUND SCREENING.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
