Essential Functions

Assists users with new systems and resolves problems; assists programmers with new systems development; coordinators installation of computer networks, PC’s, peripheral equipment, and terminals; prioritizes data entry jobs; assists with data entry as required; distributes reports to hospital departments; operates mainframe printers; provides assistance to departments with PC application software; installs and configures software; maintains user profile databases; maintains LAN servers; troubleshoots terminal and PC problems; provides users with instructions for computer applications; communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital staff in person and via telephone; responds to overhead pages and digital pagers; adheres to hospital policies including confidentiality; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and two years information technology experience.

Working Days and Hours

Monday – Friday

8:00 am – 4:30 pm
