Microsoft SharePoint/Project Server Administrator supporting the IT Services Task Order on the IRES program located at Schriever AFB, Colorado or Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
The successful candidate will:
Be Responsible for managing a complex high-demand multi-tenant Project Server 2013 application enabled SharePoint 2013 environment.
Provide support for multiple instances of Project Server, as well as assistance to Project Server instance administrators and Program Control for portfolio and reporting development.
Be Responsible for the installation, configuration, operations, and management of the SharePoint farm supporting the Project Server instances.
Implement system upgrades and patching; operating system, SharePoint, and Project Server IA compliance and related application components.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint/Project Server issues.
Proactively monitors server and application event logs.
Provide application-level support and administration to include managing permissions.
Configure MS Project SharePoint sites as required and assists local administrators.
Provide recommendation and best practices to the Project Server community.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma (or GED) with 16 years of general experience
Associate’s degree with 14 years of general experience
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of general experience; must include 8 years of related experience and 5 years in management or leadership roles, five years’ experience in system administration and applications support.
Three years’ experience managing and administering SharePoint.
Two years’ experience managing and administering Project Server
Experience with Project Web Access and connected project sites.
Experience with the Microsoft Project Professional client.
Experience with Windows 2012 R2 and web servers.
Experience deploying patches to Windows Operating Systems.
Capable of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must possess a DoD SECRET security clearance.
Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification to include CompTIA Security+ certification or a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
