Job Description


Provide software coding expertise in support of the PATRIOT Air Defense System Lower Tier Project Office (LTPO). Provide software application development support for web based and standalone products in support of the PATRIOT Air Defense Missile System. The successful applicant will have product responsibility to include generation, integration, configuration management, testing, sustainment and documentation as required to meet our customer’s requirements. Must be able to generate code based on requirements documents or pseudocode generated by software engineers. Coding is done using Microsoft Visual Studio in Visual Basic, C and C#. Web development also requires Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server, SQL Database, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) hands-on experience. The applicant will be part of a working group which will require being able to generate briefing materials using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Briefings will be presented to international customers so good speaking skills are a plus. The applicant will also provide demonstrations of developed Human System Interfaces (HIS) and participate in generating training material for developed products. Experience working with export sensitive information and familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 is a plus. The initial workload is to support a suite of website applications, sustain two standalone products and code internal utility programs.


Desired Degree Type: Bachelor of Science (BS)

Desired Degree Major: Computer Science or Engineering

Years of Experience Required: 5 years or HS and 10 years

Type of Experience Required: Hands-on coding experience using Microsoft Visual Studio development environment (must include C#). Experience creating, publishing and sustaining a website with SQL Server backend.

Type of Experience Preferred: Demonstrated total software product responsibility from creation to distribution experience is a plus.
