Purpose of this position is to perform supply/inventory duties in stock level maintenance, inventory adjustment, and receipt control. Maintains stock levels for authorized items. Reviews stock records and determines replenishment needs by fixed mathematical formulas. Performs property accountability and management. Assures accurate description, condition and quantity available when property is declared excess or residue. Promptly notifies other organizations requiring the same or similar equipment. Reviews reports of excess property submitted by their supply office and effectively identifies items that have potential for utilization. Compiles accurate information for routine forms and reports. Furnishes data with established time limit or suspense date. As required, picks up various supply for further processing. Performs general clerical support work to the warehouse operation. Maintains and properly annotates files with minimal errors providing for easy and timely retrieval/location of material. Regularly reviews files ensuring accurate coding and deletion of outdated material. Compiles accurate data/statistics by extracting data from various sources. i.e., automated system, computer listings, document files, etc. Inputs supply information into a computer system. Performs all administrative/clerical duties associated with the lodging supply section. Required to drive government vehicle. This is a Position of Trust.
