Progressive Solutions LLC, located in 805 Decatur St, Newton, MS 39345, has 200 job openings for FT temp Brush Clearers. No experience necessary, no minimum education required; applicant must be 18 years of age and complete company application. Progressive Solutions maintains a drug free workplace & workers may be subject to post-employment drug testing as required by government contracts. Work consists of using backpacks to apply herbicides and using other tools to control vegetation in rights of way, rangeland, wildlife areas, industrial sites, and other areas. After 3 weeks of training, trainee must be able to identify plants, follow established procedures, & properly apply herbicide mixtures at a minimum of 20 gal. per day. Job requires physical stamina to walk 10 miles/day over rough terrain, carrying 35 pounds of equipment, in adverse conditions (hot weather, poisonous plants, insects, and snakes); extensive travel required. No experience necessary, no minimum education required; applicant must be 18 years of age and complete company application. Progressive Solutions maintains a drug free workplace & workers may be subject to post employment drug testing as required by government contracts .Employment will start in Newton, MS at an hourly wage of $11.86 where trainees will undergo paid training. Trainee must travel to designated location independently and attend all training. Company will provide training & pay test fees for applicator certification. All equipment provided by employer at no cost to the worker. Employer offers optional transportation to the trainees from designated rally location to daily job sites & between work locations; MS, AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, NM, TN, TX, AZ, KY, and CO. Work Period lasting approximately 8.5 months from 4/1/2019 to 11/16/2019 throughout all areas of intended employment in MS, AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, NM, TN, TX, AZ, KY, and CO. Employer will pay the cost of lodging to the extent such costs would reduce pay below the offered wage rate for the area of intended employment.
