Assist with day to day operations of restaurant. Welcome all incoming guests, ensure menu is explained properly and clearly. Participate as needed and monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation. Ensure health department guidelines are followed. Perform and direct employees in food preparations, service, cooking, and preserving food. Assist with scheduling staff hours, recognizing and creating staff teams. Monitor bartenders’ and customers’ activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed. Establish standards for personnel performance and customer service. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality and service. Plan and coordinate catering events, concerts, and major wharf events. Responsible for the cleanliness of FOH, bathrooms, bar, fridge, freezer, and BOH. Created routine cleaning and maintenance schedules. Understands operations of all restaurant equipment.
Maintain liquor, beer, and paper disposable product inventory. Receive food and beverage deliveries, check delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity, and issue payments as required.
Assist with marketing and advertising by creating flyers, social media posts, creating activities to draw customers. Research incoming bands. Recruit new hires.
Requirements: Must be able to stand for long hours at a time, lift 15+ pounds. Ability to work under pressure and without constant direction. Good people skills. Understands how to lead a team. Works well with others. Speak and communicate clearly.
