Project Support Officer
Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal, AL

Your role:
In your role as a Project Support Officer, you will support the Joint Test Management Office (JTMO) with the oversight of test project setup, monitoring, maintenance, and termination.

What you’ll do all day:
Work as part of a team of test management professionals.
Perform data reviews and metrics tracking in accordance with government regulations.
Communicate with engineers, technicians, and customers to discover and develop requirements with the goal of optimizing current and future projects.
Load data, review, synchronize, and troubleshoot issues within Redstone Test Center’s business systems.
Utilize custom tools to include: project estimation, report deadlines, milestones, and overarching metrics.
Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, and handle information requests on a daily basis.

Minimum requirements for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, science, or business discipline from an accredited college/university OR
Associate’s Degree and two (2) years of applicable experience OR
Four (4) years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area OR
Four (4) years of military training OR
A combination thereof in the specialty area.
Demonstrative ability to support process improvements.
Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.

Must be a US Citizen.

Desired skills and experience for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Experience with project management, business or account management.
Experience collecting data, reviewing technical documents, compiling statistics and data for projects, writing narratives, monitoring, and maintaining audit files for program compliance.
Technical experience performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.
Experience with customer provided business tools (ADSS, PMM, VDLS, and SharePoint).
