Daily Job Responsibilities:
+ The Privacy Act professional shall develop DRAFT policy, provide program oversight, and serves as the focal point or Federal, DoD and US Army Privacy matters
+ Support the Privacy program by providing day-to-day policy guidance and assistance in their implementation and execution of a Privacy program
+ Review new and existing policies which impact on the personal privacy of individuals; review, coordinate, and conduct and compete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) on collection instruments that contain information subject to Privacy Act protection
+ Provide administrative and operational support to the designated Privacy Official
+ Cyber and Privacy in a RMF environment.
+ Knowledge of IT, Data Administration and RMF.
+ 5 years of professional management experience which includes performance of the foregoing functions with respect to IT programs.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of Privacy principal and practices in the US Government
+ Comprehensive knowledge of Privacy and Data Protection Federal, DoD and Army regulations
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze Privacy’s impact on organizational risk; ability to apply techniques and procedures to safeguard Personal Information (PII)
+ Demonstrated program and task management experience
+ Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in team environments with Contractor and customer representatives
+ Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
+ ITIL Foundations and Intermediate level knowledge/experience.
+ Thorough knowledge of risk analysis and management, IT security including security policy and security control review, certification, systems administration, technical or auditing experience within the DoD
Degree Required/Equivalent Experience w/o degree:
+ BS in Computer Science or related field
+ 3-5 years’ experience in cyber and privacy
+ OR 5-7 years’ experience in a related environment with commensurate in cyber/privacy skills experience
+ IAT Level II equivalent (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP) require at least one of the certifications under IAT Level II
+ IAM Level II certification (CAP, CASP, CISSP, CISM, or GSLC) – require at least one of the certifications under IAM Level II
+ Ability to obtain ITIL V.3 within 6 months of hire
Travel Requirement: Not more than 15%
Any additional info regarding work environment:
+ Work is performed on government site. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel. Core work hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday except holidays. Support will be provided outside of core hours during the following times: 1) in support of Fiscal Year-End processing, usually the last two weeks of Sep. 2) During no more than four scheduled user tests per year; 3) in support of quarterly implementation of new code releases.
