JOB DESCRIPTION

STG, Inc\., a wholly owned subsidiary of SOS International, LLC \(SOSi\) is seeking a Cyber Infrastructure Engineer to work in Montgomery, Alabama\. Qualified candidate is to provide network infrastructure engineering and support on our team\.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :

•Design and specify new Fiber Optic and Copper infrastructure for the maintenance and expansion of the network and associated systems\.

•Develop and maintain Physical Layer documentation and network maps, as well as maintain proper configuration and change management control over the physical cable plant\.

•The candidate will be an integral member of a network management team made of primarily active\-duty personnel\.

•Be expected to provide SME oversight and training to junior enlisted AF members\.

•Provide secondary support to the Network Engineering SME on the SOSi Team\.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•5\+ years of experience designing and deploying in\-building cable plant consisting of Multi\-Mode, Single\-Mode Fiber optics, and CAT5/6e copper cabling\.

•2\+ years of experience terminating and testing Fiber Optic Cables\.

•Certified Building Industry Consulting Service International \(BICSI\) standard installation practices preferred\.

•Current DOD SECRET Clearance\.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Top Secret clearance\.

•SME level experience for supporting network and system operations\.

•Enterprise architecture and engineering experience\.

•Experience supporting programs of approximately 1800 end users\.

•Fluency in a foreign language\.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•Work environment is typical for an office setting\.
