Location: Huntsville, AL/ Requests for Aberdeen Proving Ground duty station will be considered

We are looking to add a strong, ambitious, dedicated, and self-motivated Battle Management, Command, and Control (BMC2) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to our team. The BMC2 SME will perform a variety of roles including:
• Provide subject matter expertise support to the Command, Control, and Intelligence (C2I) Division within the Space and Strategic Systems Directorate (SSSD) of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command Technical Center (SMDC-TC) located in Huntsville, Alabama
• Participate in the definition and execution of S&T activities for improving capabilities in satellite communications (space-to-space, space-to-ground, and ground-to-space), real-time dissemination of satellite data products, and satellite mission planning in support of the Army’s low-earth orbit (LEO) Space Strategy
• Describe and brief existing Army and joint DoD command, control, and data dissemination capabilities
• Develop BMC2 requirements in support of the Army LEO Space Strategy and support the coordination of requirements, issues, capabilities, and plans with Army cross-functional teams
• Perform BMC2 analysis of alternative studies and provide recommendations on appropriate courses of action
• Identify emerging capabilities in the Army and Joint DoD BMC2 community and participate in working groups and integrated product teams as appropriate
