Job Description


BS degree in Accounting required
CPA preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
‘Can do’ attitude and great customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to work with different operational groups/teams/third parties
Flexible mindset with approach & execution of responsibilities
Ability to analyze issues and apply critical thinking
Three to four years of experience in public or private accounting
Construction industry experience preferred
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
Responsibilities Include:

Assist with management of subcontractor default insurance program workflows, analytics, reserves, and profit and loss statements and affiliated software implementations
Coordinate the firm’s subcontractor prequalification program
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor’s financial information in accordance with company policy
Work with estimating and operations departments to ensure all pre-qualifications are performed on subcontractors
Manage tracking mechanisms for program
Call and communicate with subcontractor population to obtain required financial data
Obtain post project evaluations of subcontractor from project team for inclusion into the prequalification database
Assist in the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation
Assist with financial statement, tax, audits and other assigned accounting duties as necessary
Assist with special projects as necessary


Bachelors or better in Accounting.
