The candidate’s primary focus will be to develop, execute and analyze test plans and test results for constructive and high-fidelity virtual authoritative weapons systems. Test plans should be derived from in-depth, system-level knowledge of the system’s capabilities, limitations, operations, doctrinal intent, and other assessments. The candidate should review model developer documentation and test plans, IC system assessments, and all relevant documentation to produce test plans to verify development claims; validate system performance versus assessments, engineering analysis, and hardware test results; define edge-case and other relevant test cases not examined by the developer; and provide tests which can be incorporated into the automated testing framework. The candidate will analyze all test data with regards to veracity, relevance, and source, and provide conclusions in a written report or in the issue documentation system, as required by project scope. Model performance will be evaluated at both the system and system-of-systems levels. Candidate will be expected to develop and execute complex M&S scenarios
Candidate should be able to collect, organize, and analyze V&V data to summarize, document, present, and archive findings.
Candidate will generate technical memoranda, reports, and briefings to detail the analysis, findings, limitations and caveats of the threat M&S.
Must have the ability to develop comprehensive, system-level understanding of real-world weapons systems
Must have good data analysis, documentation and organizational skills.
A background in radar, missiles, and surface- and ground-based systems is strongly desired.
Good communication skills, both written and oral, are needed.
Experience working with threat system M&S with good system analysis aptitudes is desired.
Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and willingness to work as an integrated team.
Knowledge of standard V&V processes and procedures is desired.
Python coding knowledge is beneficial, but not required
Bachelors degree in Engineering
