Sr Project Cost Analyst

Job Description

Hexagon US Federal is looking for an energetic individual with strong financial and analytical abilities to join our project/cost analyst team. Project/Cost Analyst is responsible for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities for one or more of our business units.

Duties:

  • Performs financial analyses including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Responsible for developing, tracking and analyzing program budget, revenue, cost and margin data.
  • Analyze and report budget/forecast monthly cost and schedule variances to all company and customer stakeholders.
  • Provide Program Control support to program management.
  • Responsible for monthly project revenue and cost recognition, profit and loss, forecasting.
  • Responsible for preparing customer CDRL reporting.
  • Support contract types including cost plus, T&M, and fixed price.
  • Coordinate work with Hexagon US Federal Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, and Accounting to ensure projects are setup and managed according to company process, contract requirements, accounting governance and government regulations.
  • Review and approve program purchase requisitions.
  • Utilize Deltek/Costpoint version 7.1.1 and Deltek/T&E version 9.
  • Support ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Ensure project timelines are met.

Job Requirements

Desired:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 7 Years of work related experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
