Job Description

Oral Arts is a full-service dental lab, Family & Veteran owned since 1970, which manufactures dental prosthesis, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, and orthodontic appliances such as retainers, splints, night guards, sports guards, etc. using laser scanners, 3D printers, rapid prototyping, CAD/CAM technology, milling machines, modeling clay, wax, wire, glass ceramics, and zirconia. This entry level position provides a great opportunity and introduction into the field of dental technology. The ideal candidate will display good hand and eye coordination along with artistic expression and mechanical ability.


8a-5p, Monday – Friday

Huntsville, AL

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Scan production for each technician using hand scanner
Run carts of work to Quality Control, shipping and receiving, and/or other departments as needed
Track and expedite the completion of high priority cases
Run production reports throughout the day for department manager and supervisors
Research and resolve problems and issues
Work with customer service to reschedule cases and correspond with dentists and offices when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have working knowledge of fax, copy machine, and general administrative equipment.
Must have working knowledge of desktop applications including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to work well in a team environment, as well as an individual work environment.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs regularly. Additional physical requirements may include:Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
