Description: American Healthcare Resources is seeking dedicated and reliable LPNs to work in a geriatric psychiatric facility in Tuscaloosa. Per Diem, Part time hours available! Join our team and enjoy benefits such as choosing your own days to work and weekly pay via direct deposit! Skills: Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State · Ability to read and write in a legible and understandable manner · Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees · Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance · Must meet all local health regulations, and pass pre-employment physical exam · Must have current TB skin test within 1 year · Must have current CPR/BLS certification · Must be capable of performing the essential functions of nursing position · Required experience: NURSING HOME EXPERIENCE: 1 year Duties: To assist RN in providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations; and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing. Is subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including TB, and the AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.
