Position Description:

CGI is looking for a talented, driven, and experienced front-end developer/designer with a passion for customer experience to join our team. Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Participate in the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and quality assurance to delivery and support

•Participate in a fast paced team with an emphasis on rapid iteration and delivery

•Be experienced in the latest digital trends and user experience philosophies

•Be experienced or being able to learn state of art the UI design and usability best practices

•Design and implement UI/UX changes on multiple customer facing applications and communications

•Participate in a distributed team working with modern source-control and CI/CD processes

•Collaborate with team members to find better, more efficient ways of doing things.

•Solve challenging business and technical problems to meet client needs.

•Be part of a fast-paced team providing leading IT solutions to local enterprise clients.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•Minimum 2 years of experience working on UI/UX design and implementation with strong skills in HTML/CSS

•Strong experience working on front-end web applications with an ability to diagnose and address design / user experience concerns

•Demonstrated ability to recognize business needs, analyze requests, recommend solid technical solutions, and lead in delivering the solution.

•Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and relentless attention to detail.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts (SME).

•Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or related field.
