Responsible for providing sampling services to our industrial waste water and municipal drinking water clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
- Daily driving to client offices and Sampling sites.
- Daily set ups of sampling equipment.
- Daily maintenance of equipment (cleaning and repair).
- Interact daily with clients.
- Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff.
- Must follow Pace Analytical Service, Inc. Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Standard Environmental Sampling Equipment.
Normal out of town travel 5 days/week, 8-10 hrs./day. Possible Overnights
Clean Driving Record & Valid driver’s license required.

Education and/or Experience* – High School Diploma; and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands* – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must have the ability to lift equipment in excess of 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust to focus.
Work Environment* – Daily driving mostly in Mobile and Baldwin Counties with occasional trips to outside of these counties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Language Skills* – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills* – Ability to calculate figures and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability* – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to read maps and use map apps to find addresses around the state of Alabama a plus.
