Job Description

Assist supervisors in the operations of shift production. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES

? Ensure that production employees are instructed and trained in the care and safe operations of equipment.

? Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials. Preform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.

? Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.

? Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.

? Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings, etc.

? May occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.

? Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of production.

? Maintain cleanliness of work area.

? Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Sarbanes Oxley, Safety, Global Food Safety standards, Sanitation and HACCP, etc.)

? Perform other duties as directed by supervision.

? Complete AIB Master Baker Correspondence Course.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS

LICENSE - May be required to possess and maintain a valid license to operate
forklift equipment.

MOBILITY - Must be physically capable of rapid, unimpeded movements to all
applicable production area. Must be capable of repetitive reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling as required in production operation.

SENSORY - Ability to generate written communication and provide verbal
direction to Production workers and other supporting personnel.

ATTENDNCE - Ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.

COMMUNICATION - Ability to read and comprehend production schedule. Ability to
communicate clearly and distinctly in English (in person and via
telephone), and/or other language if required.

OTHER - Ability to ascertain, implement, and monitor required policies and
procedures.

- Ability to work in a 40 degree to 120 degree environment.

- Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to
be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to
fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.

- Ability to meet FDA and CDC guidelines of public safety for work in a food manufacturing environment.

- Ability to work various shifts

- Ability to travel, as well as re-locate to affiliate bakery.

- Ability to operate computers and other office equipment.

- Ability to understand and use Microsoft Office applications, as
well as other computer systems.
