Renewable Contract Assistant Professor
The Department of Modern Languages and Classics seeks a specialist in German Language Pedagogy with an emphasis on instruction of German for Engineers, along with expertise in German culture. This is a non-tenure track three-year appointment with the opportunity for renewal and promotion to Associate Professor and Professor. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for students in our burgeoning German and Engineering program and will teach other general courses in German language and culture. The position has no research requirement but contains an administrative component. The candidate will liaison with the Colleges of Engineering and Business, facilitating internships, study abroad, language placement, advising, and grant proposals. Ph.D. is required.
