Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all science labs.
• Assists the senior lab assistant in the preparation for scheduled labs to include
insuring availability of material and supplies, preparation or special solutions/media,
and maintenance of living specimens.
• Responsible for the daily cleanliness of equipment such as test tubes.
• Assists in the preparation and removal of equipment needed for science labs on a
daily basis.
• Supervise student workers.
• Performs other related duties as request by appropriate supervisor.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to operate a computer and other office machines is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred.
SALARY: $ 10.82 per hour / 19 hours per week
BASE: Wadley Campus
START DATE: February 2020
