Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned. Will also be proficient in the use of the Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation Enhanced [ULLS-A(E)], the current maintenance management system utilized to maintain Army aircraft forms and records. Plans, conducts, and supervises aircraft technical inspections. Computes basic weight and balance records. Participates in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required. Ensures compliance with aircraft configuration control, Army oil analysis Program and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration. Provides lower level technician guidance in aircraft repair and technical inspection techniques and procedures according to directives, technical manuals, work standards and operational policies. Prepares evaluations, special reports, and records pertaining to aircraft maintenance repair and related actives. Must be capable of qualifying to perform Hazardous Flight duties as Crewmembers/Non-Crewmembers. Personnel filling these positions are required to meet the qualifications in AR 95-20.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
HS Required . Desired – Technical or Military School Training.
Six years direct experience in aircraft maintenance or military technical school with an Airframe & Power plant (A&P) License.
