Job Description

This position specifically requires management of a project to address RMF controls and Plans of Action/Milestones (POA&M) entries for all authorized systems for a program office. Coordination will include collection of status from each participant, tracking of time remaining for completion, and generation of metrics for project progress. There will also be quality control reviews of answers generated by the team. Metrics generation will be both for the progress of the project as well as for the RMF status of all tracked systems. Resource tracking for team time will align with Agile/SCRUM methodology used by the program. The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for providing Information System Security Management for deployed assets supporting the Prime Contractor by extension of the government Assurance Officer (AO) for unclassified and classified missile defense systems and subsystems.

Experience Requirements:

Must have 1-15 years of direct experience.
System access controls, account management, user training, IA training, auditing and reporting including incident response (IR).
Must have experience with policy implementation and enforcement.
The ISSO must perform all duties in compliance with the security operating procedures (SOP).
Decommissioning systems and disposing of classified information properly.
Proper storage of classified, CUI, and FOUO information is a must.
Must have excellent communication skills for coordination with other program stakeholders to include supporting reviews and security compliance assessments and program protection assessments.
Will work with the System Administrators and System Owners to mitigate security issues within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
