Job Description

Job Title: Tub Dumper

Reports To: Line Supervisor

Primary Responsibility:

This position is responsible for supplying the line with raw product and removing finished product from the lines. Employee must be able to keep work area clean and organized. Responsible for insuring proper placement of product to and from the lines. Must be able to follow guidelines concerning GMPs, product flow and safety.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • Able to communicate with line leaders and employees.
  • Able to work with ingredients containing allergens: Soy, etc.
  • Working in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Skills and requirements:

  • Be able to write and read information taken when weighting product
  • Be able to follow written procedures.
  • Follow plant GMP, Safety and USDA guidelines

Physical Environment:

  • Ability to work in damp and cool environment (40 +/- F)
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Exposure to noise (> 85 decibels) and moving production lines
  • Spices used in production creates a dusty environment
  • Prolong periods of standing

Preferred Skills:

  • Working in a fast paced environment.

Job Hazards:

  • Using improper lifting techniques

Failure to follow max tub weight’s guidelines: 70 Lbs
