The Procurement/Subcontracts Manager will provide leadership in every aspect of the subcontracts life cycle and use creative thinking skills to drive solutions that help solve the critical missions that Centauri serves. This position will be embedded in a mission-focused operations group and responsible for subcontracts and procurement and ensure compliance with established company purchasing policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and have working knowledge of Subcontract types/Purchase Orders and ability to manage a challenging, fast-paced environment. Solve problems, develop solutions and assist program managers in achieving financial goals and objectives with their subcontractors. This position will work closely with other group leads to ensure maintaining compliance and in support of resolving complex matters.
8+ years of relevant experience in purchasing/subcontracts
Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
Prepare Request for Proposals/Quote packages.
The ability to perform comprehensive price analyses.
Negotiate supplier price and Terms & Conditions.
Issue of a variety of procurement actions (Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, ATP, Modifications, etc.).
Track Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders within purchasing system.
Process subcontractor invoices.
Working knowledge of Close-out procedures.
Ability to manage and mentor junior subcontracts professionals.
Update and improve Centauri subcontract policies and procedures.
Provide advice and assistance in subcontracting matters to management including issues involving Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR).
Conduct periodic subcontracts and procurement training for PMs and business leaders.
Should possess sound reasoning skills and the ability to interpret policies and government regulations in day to day activities.
Effective communication and coordination with internal stakeholders as well as Suppliers.
Experience working with FAR, DFARS, Agency regulations, ITAR, etc.
Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Project)
Organized and systematic approach to task management that enables timely closure of actions.
Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
Experience with UNANET
Ability to obtain TS.
B.S. / B.A. Majors: Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management or Business Law.
