Main Objective of Position
Ensuring the efficient operation of building/facility and all installed equipment. Select, train and manage all Maintenance team members and continually increase ability, competence and effectiveness of maintenance team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Design and implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs for facility and plant equipment
•Manage maintenance team members to ensure proper procedures are being followed. Make recommendations on employment actions, and evaluate performance of employees.
•Design and implement preventive maintenance programs for facility and all plant equipment
•Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance department
•Coordinate work performed by outside vendors
•Ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates
•Manage, control and monitor inventory of spare parts
•Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures of the department
•Contribute the implementation of best practices to improve operational performance
•Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend and implement strategy to manage expenditure
