Job Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Support Analyst in Montgomery, Alabama (AL).Summary:The on-site IT contact who supports and maintains the IT systems that integrate to a partially automated assembly line, which installs tires on wheels, tests them, and prepares shipments to the customer. Support and maintain the front office IT systems that are required for basic office work. Implement new software, features and configurations that support plant and customer requirements. Aids the rest of the corporateResponsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT team to learn systems, and complete ad hoc/project work
  • Manage your own work and projects using modern project management tools
  • Support IT software systems that interface with the physical process
  • These systems typically integrate to equipment through an OPC server, to a database, and have some sort of UI/UX for user interaction
  • Support IT hardware systems on the plant floor
  • These systems include thick clients, thin clients, zero clients, label printers, and mounting hardware
  • Manage the Production
  • 4 – 6 years high level technical support, implementation or development experience, preferably in an automotive manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Experience in troubleshooting PCs, printers, cell phones, desk phones, wireless access points, switches, routers, and other network devices and connectivity
  • Preferred: experience installing, maintaining, and administering MSSQL Databases
  • Preferred: experience with equipment integration using OPC Servers
  • Preferred: experience with Kepserver EX
  • Preferred: Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server 2008 or Server 2012 administration experience
  • Preferred: understanding of programming and procedural thinking
