In your role as a Test Engineer, you will directly support a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs. Using your technical and project management experience you will estimate, plan, schedule, oversee, and report on testing of aviation, missile, and sensor systems, subsystems and components.
What you’ll do all day:
Work as part of a team of test engineers and technicians.
Coordinate and work with customers, organizational elements, engineers, and support contractors as necessary to accomplish test objectives and to resolve issues.
Develop test plans, procedures and requirements to evaluate performance characteristics of test items.
Plan and schedule test programs to provide a good balance between functional testing, timeliness, asset availability, and cost.
Report on test results and makes recommendations to customers.
Reviews and update future facility needs and provides plans, schedules, and costs to meets those needs.

Minimum requirements for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university in a related field.
Minimum three (3) years of technical work experience.
Must be able to track test schedules and milestones for multiple projects in parallel.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the year
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be a US Citizen.
Desired skills and experience for this position:
Demonstrated ability to write and edit technical documents.
Project/ Product Management experience
Experience in DoD test environment.
