Customer Service/Sales Representative
Huntsville, Alabama
Introduction
Oral Arts is a full-service dental lab, Veteran owned since 1970, which manufactures dental prosthesis, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, and orthodontic appliances such as retainers, splints, night guards, sports guards, etc. This entry level position provides a great opportunity and introduction into the field of dental prosthesis. The ideal candidate will display good hand and eye coordination along with artistic expression.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Consult with external customers and internal department personnel on unfamiliar issues or to confirm specific advice on product use
Maintain log of customer calls with detailed notes
Attend exhibitions as a Oral Arts booth vendor
Must be able to multi-task
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to interact with diverse customers and dental professionals
Must be able to expand education and knowledge of Oral Arts Dental Laboratories products, instructions for use, and standard operating procedures through various training classes offered
Call new and reactivated doctors to provide follow-up and check on cases
Place retention calls with zero balance doctors
Pull weekly reports and collect data to include but not limited to: expiration report, new doctor report, reactivated doctor report, etc.
Enter marketing campaigns and coupon codes as necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office, HTML/CSS coding, Magic Touch Database, Adobe Suite, Online server programs, Video Conversion software and video editing software
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-focused position
Must have a minimum of 6 months of dental experience
Experience with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must have working knowledge of fax, copy machine, and general administrative equipment.
Must have working knowledge of desktop applications including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to work well in a team environment, as well as an individual work environment.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job include the following:
seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs regularly. Additional physical requirements may include:Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
