Responsibilities expected of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop, conduct, and track annual training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance (outsourced or in-house)
Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
· Recommend appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, e-learning, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)

· Manage logistics of all training sessions

Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
· Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills

· Gather and track feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session

· Maintain current curriculum database and training records

· Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts

· Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment

Verify that all employees’ certifications are current. Advise employees of recertification deadlines and work with employees to ensure certification remains current
Position Qualifications:

· Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)

· Progressive knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools

· Computer skills including MS Office

· Excellent presentation skills

· Self-motivated and detail-oriented

· Ability to implement new processes and motivate others

· Ability to travel up to 25%

· Flexibility to cover multiple shifts

· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field, preferred

· Minimum of three to five years of experience in a Training role in a manufacturing environment

· Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting

Physical Requirements:

· Walking, standing and sitting for long periods of time
