Job Description

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to optimize service delivery to improve service, increase revenue and profit margins, reduce costs, and mitigate risk. This leader will be responsible for the ITSM (ServiceNow), monitoring and automation teams. The position will also focus on creating new offerings and expanding the Managed Service portfolio through partnering with Product Management, Sales, IT Consultants, Professional Services and Managed Services delivery leadership.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Management

+ Manage ServiceNow, Monitoring and Automations teams

+ Provide technical direction, application roadmaps and technical ownership for MS applications

+ Manage development and deployment lifecycle for MS applications

Innovation and Optimization

+ Assess current infrastructure and applications for optimization and ensure investments are fully realized

+ Create and maintain technology roadmap for infrastructure and applications

+ Review, assess and optimize non-labor COGS to determine baseline and target goals

+ Review, assess and optimize relevant Service Provider (SP) KPIs, such as cost-per-incident, etc., to determine baseline and target goals

+ Determine more efficient ways to utilize and offload labor costs and transform MS from labor-based business

+ Introduce and execute plans for new technology or processes to achieve optimization targets

+ Measure and report on optimization baseline and targets

Offering and Portfolio Development

+ Review and assess current services portfolio with top 10 revenue customers

+ Develop business plan for new offerings with the partnership of Product Management, Sales, ITC, PS and MS

+ Execute and lead existing offering development of in-flight offerings

+ Develop and report on targets for top-line revenue growth from new offerings

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelors’ degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

+ At least ten (10) years’ experience in senior leadership in managed services or outsourcing

Other Position Requirements

+ Demonstrated knowledge of current IT infrastructure trends and issues

+ Demonstrated financial and business acumen in optimizing costs while improving service

+ Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations and vendor management

+ Demonstrated problem solving, customer service, negotiation, and follow up skills

+ Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

+ Demonstrated ability to uncover customer needs and match those needs to appropriate IT solutions

+ Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no supervision

+ Ability to travel 25% of the time
